Chatham County and United Way of Chatham County welcome you to our joint application process. Historically, we have allowed county agencies to apply for both county and United Way funding using one application to simplify work for applying agencies. The United Way of Chatham County manages the administrative duties of the nonprofit allocations application process for Chatham County. However, decisions about funding are made entirely separately by each organization.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 12, 2016. There will be no exceptions or extensions to this deadline, regardless of weather issues that might occur during the week or day(s) before February 12, so please plan ahead to have everything ready to submit early. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Application attachments should also be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016. Whether you are requesting funding from United Way, Chatham County or both, two copies of the required Certification documents should be submitted to the United Way office. Please label each with their appropriate number in the top right-hand corner. They may be mailed to PO Box 1066, Pittsboro, NC, 27312 or delivered to the United Way office at 72 Hillsboro Street, Suite 202 in Pittsboro.
